3D Modeling and Animation

Application and Multimedia Development can punch up your presentations, publication material, videos and animations with state-of-the-art 3D graphics. Tapping the professional artistry of AMD computer graphics staff can bring superior levels of clarity and sophistication to your presentations or grant proposals, as in the example to the right:

We have strengthened department recruitment campaigns with multi-textured printed posters, brochures, newsletters, and web presences. Recent multimedia work includes an interactive CD-ROM celebrating the discoveries and history of the Voyager spacecraft (distributed by JPL) and a Space Physics web site for grades K-12 and beginning college-level students.

How do I get started?

Email the AMD Manager with your initial requirements and ideas. After that, the project follows these basic steps:

Consultation - AMD will gather the information they need concerning the look and feel of your site, how you want your site to work, and your site's content. Please bring the following material to your consultation:

  • Your operating details
  • Your target audience
  • The services and resources offered by your group
  • Reference, such as copies of any logo, brochures, etc.
  • A list of staff, students or people in your organization and any descriptive information about them.

Proposal - AMD will prepare an official statement and procedure for creating your project.

Design Phase - Once the proposal has been signed and an FAU has been submitted, AMD will mock-up some design concepts to aid you with visualization. At this time, your feedback will direct changes in the design until the desired effect has been achieved.

Completion - AMD will present the product to you for final approval. Upon final approval, your project will go to print.
