Computer Data Network
UCR has a highly sophisticated network of almost 1,000 pieces of equipment providing roughly 19,400 high speed switched ports over high-speed (multiple gig) fiber connected campus core network to service the needs of the University. The off-campus links are connected by two off-campus routers in Stat and TeleCom via a diverse redundant fiber path that is meshed between the core locations for a total of six gig paths. Whether data connectivity is wired or wireless, we at Network Services strive to provide secure, seamless, and redundant data services with some of the best performance around.
