• How do I log onto the KST online catalog?
  

  There are 3 ways to access the eBuy PC+ online catalog:

  1. Access the eBuy PC+ online catelog
  2. Go to the KST Data home page at: http://www.kstdata.com/. The login and password for eBuy PC+ online catalog is UCR; highlander.
  3. Staff and faculty members can log on through the catalog via their iViews homepage. No login or password will be needed for access.
• How do I browse through equipment other than the sweet spots?

  KST offer a wide selection of electronic equipment. To view these products, click the Product category located at the top of the page and it will bring up a list of products they carry organized by category.

• How do I configure my own specifications on the manufacturer’s website?
  

  To configure your own computer, you must log into the KST/UCR online catalog. Below the sweet spot categories, there are links to the Dell, HP, and Gateway web pages exclusive for KST/UCR.

• How do I retrieve previously saved quotes?
  

  To retrieve saved quotes, select the Search/Quote/Order link at the top of the page and scroll down to saved quotes.

• Can non-UCR staff purchase through KST?
  

  Non-UCR staff members are not allowed to purchase through KST.

• How do I change certain parts of a sweet spot?
  

  To change a certain specification in a sweet spot, you must construct a new configuration in the manufacture’s website.

• How do I order a sweet spot?
  

  1. To purchase a sweet spot, log onto the eBuy PC+ catalog.

  2. Click on the type of product you are looking for (desktop, tablet PC, ultralight notebooks) and it will take you to the sweet spot page.

  3. There are a number of different sweet spot configurations. Make sure you scroll down to indicate whether you want a monitor with the sweet spot computer. (To view detailed specification for these products, click on the manufacturer specifications link under the company logo.)

  4. Click on the buy link to save this shopping cart into a quote. You can either save this item to a group with a specific name title or save it without a title. Move on to the next section by pressing continue.

  5. Verify all the information on this page is correct. Fill in the "Attention To" field and click the email button located at the bottom right of the screen.

  6. Fill out all the required fields in this page. The recipient address should be your purchasing assistant. Click on send once you have completed all the fields.

• How often do sweet spots change?
  

  Sweet spot configurations are changed every quarter based on the new specifications approved by the UCR Advisory Group.

• How do I make a purchase?
  

  The process to place an order is different if you are a Shopper (an employee selecting a product) or a Purchasing Assistant (authorized by the University to place an order). Please refer to the User Guides,

• What forms do I have to fill out for orders?

  In order to make a purchase through KST, you must fill out the UC Pro-Card order form.

• Can I purchase equipment for personal use?
  

  UCR does not allow personal purchases through KST.
