Q. What is eForms?

A. The eForms system houses various electronic forms that the University of California, Riverside requires for the use/request of certain technical and non-technical services. These forms may be accessed and electronically processed via an e-mail approval process that culminates upon an email back to the requestor confirming that the request has been filled.

Q. How do I access eForms?

A. Access to enter and edit records in UCR's eForms is authorized by the departmental Systems Access Administrator (SAA) using the Enterprise Access Control System (EACS).   Once you have been granted access to the system, simply log into the system from the web site with your UCR NetID and password.  This will take you to the internal, cassified homepage where you can access all available eForms.

Q. How do I host an eForm for my organization/department?

A. To host an eForm, please contact Shelley Gupta, Director of Finance and Administration at Computing and Communications.

Q. How can I check the status of my eForm?

A. eForms allows multiple choice search options (Request ID, Submission Date, Request Type, Requesting Department/Organization, Service Description and Status). To Search, simply click on the "Search eForm Requests" link on the eForm internal, CAS-authenticated home page left navigation link.

Q. How will I know when my eForm has been approved?

A. Upon submission of an eForm, a unique number will be assigned to the application.  Searches can be made using this number to track the eForm.

Q. Why was my eForm returned to me?

A. eForms may be returned to you at any point during the approval process.  Returned eForms will specify the outstanding issue hindering the request from being processed.  Once the request has been reviewed, the request may be resubmitted for approval.

Q. How do I edit my eForm?

A.  To edit an eForm, you must be the submitter of the form.  eForms are available for editing only during the approval stage.  To edit, click on the "Review eForm Requests in Progress" link and select your eForm.  There is an "Edit" button on the bottom of the page which will allow you to access and edit your eForm.

Q. How do I withdraw my eForm request?

A.  To withdraw an eForm, you must be the submitter of the form.  eForms are available for withdrawl during the approval stage.  Additionally, an eForm may be withdrawn or resubmitted if it has been returned to the applicant.  To withdrawn, click on the "Review eForm Requests in Progress" link and select your eForm.  There is a "Withdraw" button on the bottom of the page which will allow you to withdraw the request from the workflow.
