UCR's Resource for Employees to Gain Access to Enterprise Systems
UCR has many computer systems available to Faculty and Staff to assist them in conducting campus business. The computer systems range from those that can be accessed via the web or those that require software to be installed on your computer.
Access for Enterprise systems are granted one of two methods:
- EACS (Enterprise Access Control System), via SAA’s (System Access Administrators), or
- SAA approval via paper form.
UCR Computing and Communications Authentication Methodology
C&C has embarked on an aggressive program to provide a single-sign on portal environment for UCR Enterprise Systems. The major of enterprise systems now utilize the single-sign on portal environment, which enables access to be granted to employees, using their UCR NetID, by their units SAA. However, some key enterprise systems still require paper approval. These legacy systems are: UCOP PPS, SIS (Student Information System), Storehouse, Equipment Management/Inventory, and Cashiering.

To determine which systems you may need access to, select one of the options to the left:
- All Systems
- Staff Systems (Further broken down by classification: Analyst/AA, CFAO, MSO, or SAO.)
- Faculty Systems
The categories of systems represent suggested applications for each type of employee. Please refer to the listing of all systems for a complete listing. Depending on your selection, all systems that are in general used by Staff or Faculty, or All systems, are identified with a brief summary of the system uses. If you are interested in obtaining access to a system, click on the system name and follow the step-by-step instructions. All required forms are available for printing directly from this site to assist you.
To further assist you in obtaining access to the appropriate systems, we have provided an Application Responsibility Matrix. This matrix summarizes the application, application description, potential users, responsible unit, expected turnaround, and the escalation procedures.
As a final note, please keep in mind that several systems require a two step process to obtain access. For example, access to SIS+ (Student Information System) required Computing and Communications to create an IBM account and the privileges are assigned by the Registrar's Office.
