Student Support Applications

The following list of applications are suggested for employees who support Graduate and Under-Graduate Students. These applications may vary depending on job duties. For a list of all available applications, please select All Applications from the left menu.

 


  • Banner Student Information System

    Banner is UCR’s  Student Information System currently under development which will provide academic and administrative processes for undergraduate and graduate admissions, registration and billing and receivables.  Full deployment is expected in Fall 2016.

  • Course and Instruction Reporting System (CIRS)

    The Course Information Reporting System (CIRS)  draws information from three different sources (Payroll Personnel System, Student Information System and the Facilities Management System) to produce various utilization reports .   Academic departments are able to review and maintain course listings, view which classes are offered with  details such as the course instructor's name, meeting dates, times and class location.

  • Grad SIS

    Grad SIS is the University of California, Riverside's online application system for graduate studies. Grad SIS allows for comprehensive processing of online applications, from submission to admission decision to applicant feedback.

  • Graduate Enrolled Students System (Grad ESS)

    The Graduate Enrolled Students System (Grad ESS) is a comprehensive, routed support management system designed to facilitate the modification, approval & disbursement of graduate student support.

  • Human Resources Data Warehouse (HRDW)

    The Human Resources & Academic Personnel Data Warehouse (HRDW) provides options to query personnel information as well as access a  series of pre-defined reports that provide easy access to commonly needed information.

  • iEval

    iEval is UCR's online system for conducting student evaluation of teaching at ieval.ucr.edu.

    iEval is currently administered by the Office of Evaluation and Assessment.  Inquires can be directed to ievalcontact@ucr.edu

  • International Scholar Services

    The International Scholar Center online system (ISConline) aids departments that apply for nonimmigrant visas for UCR employees or international researchers. ISConline allows for completely paperless creation, routing, reviews & approvals of departmental visa requests.

  • R'Web Student Portal Messages - ORG

    There are many types of messaging options available for the R'Web Portal.

    Two levels of access are available -- users that create portal content and users that publish portal content.  The first group may create content and are known as portal Authors (e.g. for the most part, these are the same individuals who are currently creating Scotmails).  The second group of users (a very limited number of users) may publish this portal content and are known as portal Publishers.

    Please contact C&C to request access to publish content to R'Web.

  • Student Academic Advising System

    The Student Academic Advising System (SAAS) is an application designed to facilitate student mentoring and advising at UCR. The SAAS provides access to students' current term enrollment, GPA (by term and cumulative), units earned, degree audit options, and the ability to record and view notes from mentoring and advising sessions.

    Due to the type of information contained in his system there are privacy and confidentiality issues that must be addressed.  Please review the Training Requirements link below before authorizing access.

  • Student Data Query System

    The Student Data Query System was developed for departmental and college personnel, faculty, and staff directly involved in student academic advising. The SDQS contains a secure, intuitive web interface that provides access to pre-defined reports as well as a query tool enabling users to report on wide variety of academic information (e.g. cumulative GPA, academic holds, units earned, enrollments, etc.). Individuals that have responsibility for advising students (e.g. who need to run a list of their advisees who are in academic difficulty) or reporting (i.e., who need to know how many students are enrolled for a particular major and create classes to meet the demand) will find the SDQS highly valuable.

  • Student Information System (SIS)

    The Student Information System (SIS) allows authorized users to manage the student record and perform administrative tasks, such as enrolling a student in a class, accepting payment from a student, and scheduling classrooms.

    Access to this system is coordinated by the

    department and users must also request an IBM Logon ID.  Please review the AUTHORIZED BY link below for more information.

  • SuperDOPE (Distribution of Payroll Expense)

    UCRFStotals is UCR’s Payroll and Personnel Data Warehouse. SuperDOPE contains Payroll transactions from the PPS system.   Users may query payroll and benefit expenditures by FAU combination and/or by employee name.  Query results may be exported to MS Excel for further analysis and reporting.  This system is updated monthly.

  • Time & Attendance Reporting System

    Time & Attendance Reporting System (TARS) offers automation of the labor-intensive data entry process of payroll information into the Personnel Payroll System (PPS).

    Employees that meet the eligibility criteria automatically have access to the system to record hours worked and/or leave taken hours.
