Wireless Handheld E-mail & Calendaring Support
UCR's wireless handheld e-mail and calendar services extend the benefits of E-mail@UCR and e-Calendar@UCR beyond the desktop & laptop, into the palm of your hand. By using the service, faculty and staff members can access these two applications anywhere that they can access the data network of their wireless provider (e.g. Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel).
Handheld users can receive, compose, and send e-mails from their campus e-mail account, and access their e-Calendar, including creating, viewing, accepting, and modifying appointments. Depending on the wireless device used, faculty and staff members may also be able to receive and view file attachments on their handhelds.
