Computing and Communication's Guide to Computing Resources for
New Students |
 |
Welcome to iGuide@UCR! This site was developed by UCR
Computing and Communications to help new students learn about the
many computing resources available to them. Those who are not new
to UCR may find out about services that they may not have known about
previously. We have also included links to information about computing
resources available through other organizations on campus, such as
the RESNET and the Library. For more information about any of the
resources mentioned on iGuide.ucr.edu, please contact
us.

Getting Your UCR Net ID and

|
Every UCR student is automatically assigned a student account which
provides access to the computing services provided by C&C, including
the computer labs, email, iLearn, the wireless network and many
other services. To start using these services you will need your
UCR Net ID, your Permanent PIN and your Student ID Number.
If you are a new freshman or transfer student you can lookup your
UCR NetID and email address by logging into the MyUCR
website and accessing the UCR Identifiers section of My Profile.
If you do not have access to My UCR, you can lookup your UCR Net
ID and email address online at http://student.ucr.edu/username.html.
Here you can also change the password for your student email, computer lab, iLearn, VPN and wireless network accounts. In order to
lookup your UCR Net ID and email address and set your password you
will need your Permanent PIN and Student ID Number. |
