Brief Description:
Webmail provides all students with an email account for as long as they are a registered UCR student. Student email accounts remain active for one year after the last quarter registered. All UCR students are required to check their student e-mail account regularly because professors, and academic and administrative departments will send important notices and information to students' email accounts.

Original Permanent PIN - email users should change their passwords from permpin to a strong password as soon as possible. Please visit http://cnc.ucr.edu/passwords for password guidelines.

Getting Your UCR Net ID and Email Address
Every UCR student is automatically assigned a student account which provides access to the computing services provided by C&C, including the computer labs, email, iLearn, the wireless network and many other services. To start using these services you will need your UCR Net ID, your Permanent PIN and your Student ID Number.
If you are a new freshman or transfer student you can lookup your UCR NetID and email address by logging into the MyUCR website and accessing the UCR Identifiers section of My Profile. If you do not have access to My UCR, you can lookup your UCR Net ID and email address online at http://student.ucr.edu/username.html. Here you can also change the password for your student email, computer lab, iLearn, VPN and wireless network accounts. In order to lookup your UCR Net ID and email address and set your password you will need your Permanent PIN and Student ID Number.
