Q. What is a UCR NetID and why do I need one?

A. New career employees are routinely assigned a UCR NetID by their department Enterprise Directory Administrator when they are hired. A list of Enterprise Administrators can be found here. Employee UCR NetID's can be found using the Web-based employee search at Employee Serach.

Without a UCR Net ID, staff and faculty cannot access iReview

Q. What is the UCR Enterprise Directory and how does it relate to iReview?

A. iReview authenticates UCR NetID's against UCR's Enterprise Directory, which is a database maintained by the campus Enterprise Directory Administrator.

Q. What is the Enterprise Access Control System and how does it relate to iReview?

A. The Enterprise Access Control System (EACS) is the online management tool used by Systems Access Administrators (SAA's) to grant access to the campus' various online systems. After authenticating a user's UCR NetID, iReview checks EACS to confirm appropriate user privileges. Q. How do I create a Reclassification?

A. To create a Reclassification select 'Create Classification Review' and the browser will be taken to a screen requesting the employee's UCR NetID. For further information on how to create a Reclassification review please click here.

Q. How do I create an Equity?

A.To create an Equity select "Create Equity Review Request" and the browser will be taken to a screen requesting the employee's UCR NetID. For further information on how to create an Equity Request please click here.

Q. What if I don't know the UCR NetID?

A. If the employee's UCR NetID is unknown select the magnifying glass icon next to the text box, in the 'Create a Classification/Equity request'. A pop-up box will appear requesting the employee's first and last name.

Q. What are the Coordinator/Initiator's principal tasks?

A. The Coordinator/Initiator's principal task is to create reclassification and equity requests. For further information regarding the Coordinator/Initiator role please click here.

Q. What are the Supervisor's principal tasks?

A. The Supervisor's principal task in most organizations is to complete the Supervisor Questionnaire and Employee Information tabs, but it is not required for them to do so. if the Supervisor does not complete this information, it must be completed by the Departmental Pre-Approver or Departmental Approver before the request can be routed to the organizational level. For further information regarding the Supervisor role please click here.

Q. What are the Organizational Approver's principal tasks?

A. The Organizational Approver's principal task is to review the information that has been entered and make necessary modifications to the Reclassification or Equity review. In the Organizational Approver's role there are no required fields that need to be completed. For further information regarding the Organizational Approver please click here.

Q. What are the H R Analyst's principal tasks?

A. The HR Analyst's principal task is to enter and modify information into the Analysis Recommendation tab. They are also able to open up the review for viewing and comments to be made by the HR Reviewer in the HR Review Information tab. For further information regarding the HR Analyst please click here.
