Introducing the Overdraft Control Tool

The Financial Systems Steering Committee (FSSC) is pleased to announce the deployment of another online tool in a series of systems aimed at facilitating extramural funds management. This new system is known as the Overdraft Control Tool (OCT), which calculates balances for all UCR's extramural funds on a nightly basis. The OCT’s business logic executes in real time and compares transaction amounts to extramural fund balances whenever transactions are processed online within one of UCR’s various business systems (e.g. eBuy, iTravel, etc.). Please note that the OCT is not implemented within the Payroll Personnel System (PPS) or the campus Student Information System (SIS).
