Getting Connected to R'Cloud

How to Gain Access to R'Cloud, powered by Syncplicity

All Senate faculty will be supplied an R'Cloud account. Your login name is your UCR NetID and your password is your UCR NetID password. You will automatically be allocated 3TB of secure storage space.  Once the storage space has been allocated, faculty may access the storage space via the R'Cloud web based interface or via an App on a smartphone.

Web Access

  1. To access Syncplicity (R'Cloud), visit https://rcloud.ucr.edu. Click Log In on the R'Cloud page.
  2. You will be presented with the UCR Central Authentication Services screen and prompted to enter your UCR NetID and password. (If you have already logged in via CAS using the same browser, you may not be presented with the CAS screen)
  3. You are now logged in to Syncplicity (R'Cloud) via the web.

    • Shared Links: This will display all of the links that you have shared with others, as well as the links shared with you. Shared link management is also found here.
    • Install: Where you can find the installs for desktops and applications
