POP & IMAP Access
R'Mail can be accessed via e-mail clients such as Thunderbird or Outlook. In order to access your R'Mail account with an e-mail client, you will need to enable IMAP or POP access in your R'Mail account, set your Google password, and configure your e-mail client
Enabling POP/IMAP
In order to use a POP/IMAP e-mail program with your R'Mail account you will first need to enable POP/IMAP access:

- Click "Settings."
- Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
- Enable IMAP and/or POP:
- IMAP - Select Enable IMAP
- POP - Select Enable POP for all mail

Setting Your Google Password

- Go to http://password.ucr.edu
- In the second form on the Password Change page labeled Set Google Password, fill in your UCR NetID password, then set your password for logging into POP/IMAP. This does not have to be the same as your UCR Net ID password.
