We're Here to Help
Computing and Communications is here to assist you in using the computing services available at UCR. Depending upon the type of problem or question that you have, and your preferred means of communication, there is help available to you.
Student Help Desk – The Student Help Desk is available by email at helpdesk@student.ucr.edu and by phone at (951) 827-6495 to answer a variety of questions related to computing services offered at UCR.
Help Desk phone hours are:
- Monday – Thursday: 8am to 10pm
- Friday: 8am to 5pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Noon to 5pm
- Closed on holidays
- Reduced hours during breaks and summer
Kiosks – Self-service kiosks are available in the computer labs in Sproul Hall 2225, Olmsted Hall 1316, and Watkins Hall 2111 to assist with many account-related functions, including UCR Net ID lookups and password resets.
