Configuring Your Device for eduroam

Wireless configuration prior to travel

Before using the eduroam network at other participating campuses, make sure your device is configured for the eduroam wireless network. Once configured, test the connection.

UCR users of eduroam here or elsewhere will login with username:  and your password.

Windows Users

Follow the instructions for "ucrwpa" and "eduroam" wireless connection.

  • Download and accept the certificate
  • Download the new UCR SecureW2 Enterprise Client

Note: Even if you have added "ucrwpa" to your wireless networks, you must download the new SecureW2 file as it includes the eduroam specifications.

After following the directions on the wireless page, you now have access to both the updated ucrwpa and eduroam connections.

Mac OS Users

There is no additional configuration requirements or downloads needed for Mac users. Use "Airport" to "Join Another Network" to find the eduroam network, if it does not already show.
