Clicker Checkout Program

Computing and Communications (in conjunction with the Student Technology Fee Advisory Committee) is pleased to have partnered with Housing and Dining Services, and Chicano Student Programs to establish a Clicker Checkout Program on campus. This program provides over 650 clickers for use by students enrolled in courses which utilize clickers during an academic quarter.


To ensure your students are eligible to take part in this new offering for your class, simply fill out the Classroom Clicker Account Request form with the information required. Once your submission is processed, students enrolled in your course can request a clicker via the reservation system at


Your professor must have completed the Classroom Clicker Account Request form for a course to make students in that course eligible to take advantage of the new checkout program.

Clicker Reservation Process
  • To reserve a clicker please utilize the clicker reservation request form via The form will be available beginning the first day of instruction starting at 7:00AM Pacific.
  • Once the form becomes available, clickers may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If no clickers are available you will receive an on-screen notice.
  • Once your reservation is confirmed you will have two business days to retrieve your clicker from Watkins Hall 2103 (or Watkins Hall 2111, after 5PM), using your UCR R'Card.

The checkout period is one quarter, and clickers should be returned to Watkins Hall 2103 no later than two business days after the last official day of the quarter.
